If there is a family involved, the parents will need to see what the age limitations are at the scuba diving shop where the instructor is located to see if all of the children can participate.  Maui scuba diving lessons can be found through different scuba diving associations, such as PADI.

What to Expect with Maui Scuba Diving Lessons

Besides the cost of the scuba diving lessons, the individual also needs to find out how much the equipment rental will cost.  He should also see if the written materials are included with the cost or if they are extra.

If the children cannot all participate in the Maui scuba diving lessons, then the parents will need to see if the scuba shop provides snorkeling lessons or other activity that the younger children can do while waiting for the rest of the family to finish their lessons.

Children that are under the age of ten usually cannot participate in Maui scuba diving lessons, or lessons anywhere else in the world.  There are also other limitations for children between ten and twelve years old, such as needing to dive with a certified parent at all times.
